Nourishes blood and activates circulation, regulates menstruation and relieves pain, moistens the intestines. The most important female herb in Chinese medicine.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in pregnant women (especially in the first trimester), and in patients with severe diarrhea and bloating. Do not use with blood-thinning medications.
📖 Usage & Dosage
Decoct 6-12 grams. The head (upper part) activates blood, the body (middle part) nourishes blood, the tail (lower part) breaks stasis.
