Traditionally used to strengthen the pregnant mother and ease childbirth, and to treat blood and spleen deficiency during pregnancy with a sensation of heaviness or fatigue. It is used near the time of delivery to facilitate labor and reduce difficulties. It must be taken under the supervision of a TCM physician.
