Calms the liver and extinguishes wind, clears liver heat and brightens the eyes, clears heat and resolves toxicity. Used for convulsions and high fever with clouded spirit from liver wind, liver-heat red eyes and febrile rashes. Saiga antelope is an endangered, protected species; goat horn and other substitutes are now used.
