📍 Location
In the posterior knee region, at the midpoint of the popliteal crease.
🏥 Indications
Lower-back and leg pain, atrophy and painful obstruction of the lower limb; abdominal pain, acute vomiting and diarrhea; urticaria, erysipelas; he-sea point of the bladder channel.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 1-1.5 cun, or prick the popliteal vein with a three-edged needle; moxibustion with caution.
⚠️ Contraindications
Avoid excessive stimulation; bloodletting by a qualified practitioner.
