📍 Location
On the upper back, 1.5 cun lateral to the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra (T3).
🏥 Indications
Cough, asthma, lung inflammation, bronchitis, tuberculosis, night sweats, fever.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion toward the interior 0.5-0.8 cun. Mild moxibustion to warm the lung. Cupping at this point is effective.
⚠️ Contraindications
Do not needle deeply (the lung lies beneath). Contraindicated in patients with active tuberculosis.
