Tian Zhu (BL10)
📍 Location
On the posterior neck, level with the upper border of the spinous process of C2, in the depression at the lateral border of trapezius.
🏥 Indications
Occipital headache, stiff neck, pain of the shoulder and back; red painful swollen eyes, nasal congestion; febrile disease, mania and epilepsy.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.5-0.8 cun; moxibustion applicable.
⚠️ Contraindications
Control the direction and depth; do not needle deeply upward.
