📍 Location
On the posterior midline, in the depression below the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra (C7), at the level of the shoulders.
🏥 Indications
Fever, common cold, influenza, neck stiffness, epilepsy, fatigue, strengthening immunity.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion upward 0.5-1 cun. Moxibustion is very effective for strengthening immunity. Do not insert deeply.
⚠️ Contraindications
Deep needling is prohibited (the spinal cord lies beneath). Use with caution in epilepsy patients.
