📍 Location
At the knee, on the popliteal crease, medial to the biceps femoris tendon, lateral to Weizhong.
🏥 Indications
Lower he-sea point of the sanjiao: stiff painful lumbar spine, lower-abdominal fullness, difficult urination, edema, contracted painful leg, and sciatica.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.5–1.0 cun.
⚠️ Contraindications
Avoid the popliteal vessels and nerve; enter only at the tendon border.
