📍 Location
On the lower back, below the spinous process of the 5th lumbar vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline.
🏥 Indications
Lumbar pain and strain, wasting-thirst, urinary frequency or difficulty, seminal emission/impotence, and chronic diarrhea.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.8–1.2 cun.
⚠️ Contraindications
Use caution with L5 injury.
