Qi Hai Shu (BL24)
📍 Location
On the lower back, below the spinous process of the 3rd lumbar vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline.
🏥 Indications
Lumbosacral pain, weak/numb leg, dysmenorrhea, menstrual irregularity, difficult urination, and qi-deficiency fatigue.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.8–1.0 cun; needle-warming moxibustion for cold patterns.
⚠️ Contraindications
No special contraindication for pressure; needling to moderate depth.
