San Jiao Shu (BL22)
📍 Location
On the lower back, below the spinous process of the 1st lumbar vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline.
🏥 Indications
Back-shu point of the sanjiao: edema, difficult urination, distension, diarrhea, vomiting, and lumbar stiffness/pain.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.8–1.0 cun or oblique.
⚠️ Contraindications
Avoid blind deep insertion in lumbar injury.
