📍 Location
On the back, below the spinous process of the 6th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline.
🏥 Indications
Heart pain, palpitations, abdominal pain/distension, hiccup, and corresponding back pain; used to settle counterflow qi.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion 0.5–0.8 cun medially.
⚠️ Contraindications
Oblique insertion only; deep needling toward the lung is forbidden.
