Tian Zong (SI11)
📍 Location
On the scapula, in the depression at the junction of the upper third and lower two-thirds of the line from the midpoint of the scapular spine to the inferior scapular angle, level with T4.
🏥 Indications
Scapular pain, shoulder/back injury, frozen shoulder, arm numbness, and breast abscess.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.5–1.0 cun toward the scapular spine.
⚠️ Contraindications
Avoid deep insertion toward the thoracic cavity.
