Zhong Ji (CV3)
📍 Location
On the anterior midline of the lower abdomen, 4 cun below the umbilicus (1 cun above the pubic symphysis).
🏥 Indications
Front-mu point of the bladder: urinary retention or enuresis, frequency, pelvic inflammation, menstrual and uterine disorders, impotence, and seminal emission.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.8–1.2 cun; empty the bladder first.
⚠️ Contraindications
Avoid deep needling with a full bladder and in pregnancy.
