📍 Location
On the anterior midline of the chest, level with the 4th intercostal space, midway between the two nipples.
🏥 Indications
Front-mu point of the pericardium and influential point of qi: chest tightness, shortness of breath, cough/asthma, hiccup, insufficient lactation, and palpitations.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Transverse subcutaneous insertion 0.3–0.5 cun upward or downward; gentle massage is common.
⚠️ Contraindications
Deep insertion toward the sternum or thorax is forbidden.
