📍 Location
On the back, below the spinous process of the 4th thoracic vertebra, 3 cun lateral to the midline.
🏥 Indications
Chronic cough, asthma, traditional consumption disease, severe deficiency and fatigue, nervousness, insomnia, and scapular pain; used to support the deeply deficient.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion 0.5–0.8 cun outward, or needle-warming moxibustion.
⚠️ Contraindications
Deep medial insertion risks pneumothorax; angle strictly outward.
