📍 Location
On the upper back, below the spinous process of the 2nd thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the midline.
🏥 Indications
Early common cold and influenza, cough, fever, headache, and stiff neck/upper back; a key point for expelling external wind.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion 0.5–0.8 cun; cupping and moxibustion are effective at the onset of a cold.
⚠️ Contraindications
Deep insertion toward the lung is forbidden.
