Jian Jing (GB21)
📍 Location
In the scapular region, at the midpoint of the line connecting the spinous process of C7 and the lateralmost point of the acromion.
🏥 Indications
Painful obstruction of the shoulder and back, stiff and painful neck, impaired movement of the upper limb; difficult labor, breast abscess, insufficient lactation; scrofula.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.3-0.5 cun; deep insertion strictly forbidden; moxibustion applicable.
⚠️ Contraindications
Overlies the lung apex; deep needling risks pneumothorax. Contraindicated during pregnancy.
