📍 Location
At the back of the head, in the depression between the sternocleidomastoid and trapezius muscles, at the base of the skull.
🏥 Indications
Headache, neck stiffness, common cold, dizziness, hypertension, blurred vision, tinnitus.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion toward the nose or opposite eye 0.8-1.2 cun. Massage with both thumbs in a circular motion. Press firmly to relieve headache.
⚠️ Contraindications
Very deep needling is prohibited (near the medulla oblongata). Do not needle upward.
