Xi Men (PC4)
📍 Location
On the volar forearm, 5 cun above the wrist crease, between the palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis tendons.
🏥 Indications
Xi-cleft point of the pericardium: heart pain, palpitations, anxiety, chest pain, hemoptysis, hematemesis, boils, and mania; adjunct in acute cardiac distress.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 0.5–1.0 cun between the tendons.
⚠️ Contraindications
In acute chest pain seek emergency care first; this point is adjunctive and never a substitute.
