Da Bao (SP21)
📍 Location
On the lateral chest, in the 6th intercostal space on the midaxillary line.
🏥 Indications
Great Luo of the spleen: chest/rib pain, asthma, generalized body pain, limb weakness, and rib injury.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Oblique insertion 0.3–0.5 cun along the intercostal space.
⚠️ Contraindications
Deep insertion toward the lung is forbidden to prevent pneumothorax.
