Qu Quan (LR8)
📍 Location
On the medial knee, at the medial end of the popliteal crease, in the depression anterior to the semitendinosus tendon when the knee is flexed.
🏥 Indications
He-sea (water) point of the liver: medial knee/thigh pain, dysmenorrhea, menstrual irregularity, genital itching, difficult urination, and lower-abdominal pain; clears liver damp-heat.
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 1.0–1.5 cun or oblique.
⚠️ Contraindications
No special contraindication; avoid superficial vessels.
