📍 Location
Located on the lateral side of the buttock, at the junction of the lateral 1/3 and medial 2/3 of the line connecting the highest point of the greater trochanter of the femur and the sacral hiatus
🏥 Indications
Flaccidity and numbness of the lower limbs, low back pain, hemiplegia, generalized wind-rash, sprain and strain causing lumbar pain
🖐️ Stimulation method
Perpendicular insertion 2-3 cun, moxibustion may be applied
⚠️ Contraindications
Use with caution in pregnant women; deep insertion should be avoided in areas with rich blood vessels
