Xiang Ru San
Xiang Ru San
💊 Actions
Dispels summerheat and releases the exterior, transforms dampness, and harmonizes the middle burner according to traditional Chinese medicine.
🏥 Indications
Traditionally used for "yin summerheat" (a summer cold from exposure to cold and damp after taking cool drinks or resting in a cool, windy place), with aversion to cold and mild fever, headache and a heavy body, absence of sweating, abdominal pain with vomiting and diarrhea, chest and epigastric fullness, a white greasy tongue coating, and a floating pulse; often seen in summer colds or acute gastroenterology that combine exterior wind-cold with internal dampness. It is unsuitable for those with spontaneous sweating from exterior deficiency, and for true summerheat with fever, sweating, irritability, and thirst. Use under the guidance of a qualified Chinese medicine practitioner.
