古方今病，不相能也，当随证更之。

Gǔ fāng jīn bìng, bù xiāng néng yě, dāng suí zhèng gēng zhī.
English Translation
The Formulary of the Pharmacy Service lets one find a formula from the pattern and use it directly, without consulting a physician or preparing anything. Yet while formulas as books serve convenience, treating disease by rigidly holding to formulas is a failing one must know to avoid.
