正其名实，辨其寒温。

English Translation
The various writers on materia medica hold conflicting opinions, some lapsing into conjecture. Now I adjudicate their rights and wrongs and find the balanced, correct view, so that the true nature of each medicinal becomes clear and users are no longer confused.
