饮食劳逸
yǐn shí láo yì病因
概述
Diet, Work and Rest (Yinshi, Laoyi) in Traditional Chinese Medicine refers to the balance of food intake, physical and mental activity, and rest, which are essential for maintaining health and preventing disease. Imbalances in these areas can directly harm the body's vital substances and organ functions, weakening the righteous Qi (Zheng Qi).
理论要点
- Irregular eating, including excessive hunger (over-hunger) damages the righteous Qi, while overeating harms the Spleen and Stomach, leading to digestive dysfunction.
- Unclean food can cause gastrointestinal disorders and parasitic infections, disrupting the normal function of the Middle Jiao.
- Dietary preferences and aversions, such as favoring cold or hot foods, excessive consumption of the five flavors, or addiction to alcohol and tobacco, can create imbalances in Yin-Yang and the internal organs.
- Excessive physical labor consumes Qi, excessive mental work depletes Heart blood and Spleen Qi, and excessive sexual activity exhausts Kidney essence.
- Prolonged inactivity (over-rest) leads to stagnation of Qi and Blood, weakened Spleen and Stomach, frail sinews and bones, obesity, and a paradoxical deficiency of righteous Qi.
- A balanced approach to diet, regular daily routine, and moderate work and rest are fundamental principles of Yangsheng (nourishing life) and supporting righteous Qi.
常见病机
- Over-hunger depletes Qi and Blood, while overeating burdens the Spleen and Stomach, causing food stagnation and dampness.
- Unclean food introduces pathogens into the gastrointestinal tract, leading to vomiting, diarrhea, or parasitic infestation.
- Excessive labor or mental strain weakens Qi, Blood, and Yin, manifesting as fatigue, palpitations, or insomnia.
- Over-rest causes Qi and Blood to stagnate, weakening the Spleen's transformation and transportation, leading to obesity and reduced resistance to disease.
日常调养
- Maintain regular meal times, eat in moderation, and avoid extremes of hunger or fullness.
- Ensure food hygiene and avoid unclean or contaminated substances.
- Balance work and rest: engage in moderate physical activity, manage mental stress, and get adequate sleep.
- Cultivate a regular daily routine, aligning activities with natural rhythms to support overall well-being.
