七情
qī qíng病因
概述
The Seven Emotions (Qi Qing) are the seven normal emotional activities in Traditional Chinese Medicine: joy, anger, worry, thought, grief, fear, and fright. When sudden, intense, or prolonged emotional stimuli exceed the body's regulatory capacity, they become pathogenic factors that can damage internal organs and disrupt Qi movement.
理论要点
- The Seven Emotions are considered normal physiological responses to external stimuli, but excessive or prolonged emotional states can transform them into causes of disease.
- Each emotion has a specific corresponding organ: anger affects the Liver, joy affects the Heart, thought affects the Spleen, worry and grief affect the Lungs, and fear and fright affect the Kidneys.
- Emotional disturbances primarily disrupt the functional activities of Qi: anger causes Qi to rise, joy slows Qi, grief disperses Qi, fear causes Qi to descend, fright throws Qi into chaos, and thought knots Qi.
- Emotional injuries commonly involve the Heart, Liver, and Spleen, leading to imbalances of Qi and Blood, and can aggravate or trigger existing illnesses.
- Regulating emotions is considered an essential aspect of health preservation and therapeutic intervention in TCM.
常见病机
- Sudden, violent, or long-lasting emotional stimuli can directly damage the corresponding Zang organs, leading to organ-specific dysfunction.
- Disruption of Qi movement by emotions can cause stagnation, rebellion, or collapse of Qi, resulting in symptoms such as irritability, palpitations, digestive issues, or respiratory distress.
- Chronic emotional strain often leads to Blood stasis or Qi deficiency, manifesting as fatigue, insomnia, or chest oppression.
- Emotional injuries may also interact with external pathogenic factors, worsening the course of disease.
日常调养
- Maintain emotional balance through mindfulness, moderate expression of feelings, and avoiding excessive attachment to outcomes.
- Engage in regular physical activity and adequate rest to support the smooth flow of Qi and Blood.
- Cultivate supportive social connections and seek timely emotional release to prevent accumulation of stress.
